Last year I choose unexpected for my word. I am not a girl that likes change but thought my chosen word would give me great joy to go out with my camera and look for whatever unexpectedly came my way. It worked well for photography but not my personal life. I was very sick in January and February, which turned out to be covid-19. Then in March I had a woman plow her car into my full sized truck, loaded for an event, and total it. She hit it so hard it ended up it into my home, and on and on... Needless to say I am glad for a new year and word to strive for. This year I have chosen PLAY!! This bridge lives on the Oregon Coast in Florence. The repeating arches are the supports for the bridge and are very colorful. While shooting them the idea struck me... at the horizon line to add photo of the actual bridge "ghosted" under the bridge. This will be a great year to play in all meanings for the word! To see the layers I used make this photo click here https://angeliapeterson.smugmug.com Feel free to look around in other galleries.
