St Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Angel, Oregon. There is just something about a great church. The attention to detail and love put into keeping the worship space pristine is breathtaking. This house of God definitely has the breathtaking element. I have included a few close up shots of the ceiling. Every window has marvelous leaded stained glass and then there is the melodic bell tower that stands at attention over the entire town. Details in every arch and slope of the ceiling are light and airy only to be lifted to great heights with each pillar. It seems you might have to walk a mile to reach the altar way, way in the front. This week I included some images of 6 Monks from the Drepung Loseling Phukang Monastery creating a picture entirely out of sand. It took them 3 days from start to finish.
