So this morning spying one, crispy rose leaf quietly floating in my dogs water bowl outside under a Thundercloud Maple tree. I grabbed my camera thinking score!! It's SIMPLICITY, right... but the light dancing on the surface of the water that was tickled by a steady-ish drip of refreshing water from the faucet now transformed and sparked subtle visual rhythm. There are two distinct ripple patterns from two different drops in the same rather quick shutter click. Then for the completely unexpected pop the sunlight than came rushing in casting right to the bottom of the bowl but stlll repeating the drop motion in the tiny yellow mountain range reaching for the blue surface, around the leaf. Depth, dominance, and detail of the leaf from a distance boasts another universe. So all in all, I will call it a Simple , Harmonious Happy Accident! I would love to hear what design-/art elements you see here and will probably post others on my site later this week. Camera Info: Sony A77, Sony 18-135 lens at 120mm ISO 1600 at f/5.6 for 1/125sec.
